Ferronova is an innovative medical device company, spun out of the University of South Australia and Victoria University of Wellington NZ, producing an advanced diagnostic system to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Ferronova's mission is to provide solutions for staging all solid tumour cancers.
The technology consists of iron nanoparticles and a magnetic detector developed at the University of South Australia.
Founded in 2016, Ferronova is backed by ASX-listed investment group Powerhouse Ventures, UniSA Ventures and Victoria Link. TechInSA has provided grant funding.
