Ferronova secures $3.5m Series A funding led by Uniseed

Ferronova, the Australian company developing a technology to help speed up the early detection of the spread of cancer received $3.5 million in funding as it plans human trials for oral, breast and colorectal cancers.


The technology – a hybrid smart magnetic and fluorescent nanoparticle – was developed by Ferronova and researchers from the University of South Australia, the University of New South Wales, Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, and the University of Sydney.
